About Us

We are a group of individuals who share a common interest in Photography, whether advanced or beginner. For meeting times and dates please refer to the Heading listed on this page below the first image. Meetings are held at the Ottewell Centre unless otherwise posted.

The ASSC's Sherwood Park Photography Group invites all those who are interested in photography to come to one of our meetings , participate in our 'round table discussions' and share your passion.

Whether it is learning how to photograph your cat, dog, family, your favorite holiday spot or learning about photo software, we can help. It doesn't matter how simple or sophisticated your camera is, we all enjoy the learning and sharing that is exchanged in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Photography can be one of the most enjoyable of hobbies. It allows for one's creative talents to grow as you interact and participate with others.

The Sherwood Park Photography Group is fortunate to have some very creative and talented members whose works consist of published images and technical write-ups in photography magazines such as Outdoor Photography Canada.

Come and bring a friend. Share your passion and your interest.

Your first visit will cost you nothing while providing you with the opportunity to meet others and share an evening. We suggest you bring your camera.

Your participation would be welcome!
