THE LOFT GALLERY PRESENTS

LAND, SEA and SKY

during the month of July, 2019

meet our Group of 3 Artists

Margaret Klappstein

The world of art has always drawn me in.  Not only nature but human representation draws me in to create in many mediums, a representation of a world and life that is transient and ever changing. The colors, the rhythm, the mood, there is always something different.  To quote David Leffel:  " Learning to paint expands intelligence, and develops sensitivity to people, to relationships, to all things in the world. Great painting is the product of the mind that is seeing, tasting, exploring the entire fabric of life.”

 Antoinette Alleyne

Antoinette devotes her time to painting, her creativity is sparked by the beauty of nature and everyday sights in daily life. She finds it exciting to discover and apply new techniques and mediums. She constantly takes on new challenges producing dynamic compositions in oils, pastels, watercolors and acrylics.

Lynda McAmmond

Lynda was born in Ontario but moved to Alberta in1978 with her family making it her home. Having an early interest in art Lynda started painting in pastels then oils .In 1986 she decided to paint seriously in watercolours later in acrylic and enjoyed pushing the boundaries while manipulating the unpredictable of the  flow of lines and movement of transparent colours with different techniques.
