Artist Biography
Artist's Statement:
My artwork and digital images are a mirroring of my inner self and my exterior reality. Once I establish a bond with the subject, I ‘speak’ through my art. I transfer my feelings and thoughts into paintings, drawings or photographs, using acrylic,oil, ink or digital.
I want to portray emotion, action, energy and sensuality drawing from imagined or real life experience.
Artist’s Biography:
I was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The creative thinking and revolutionary attitudes of the 60’s had a lasting influence on my artistic expression. I lived 7 years in Montreal and traveled extensively throughout Europe, Southeast Asia. Jamaica, Canada, USA and South America .
My experience in 2002 and 2003 visiting New York City has pushed my artistic development in to a new realm of creativity.
In 2004 I won 2nd prize at the Edmonton Art Gallery for a digital image titled: A Lazy, Hazy New Years Day.
