WORKSHOP with OKSANA ZHELISKO  ..Portrait in 4 Colors..Zorn Palette

It is much easier to achieve a harmonious look to your painting if you learn to use just few colours and to blend them effectively. In this class you will use just four colours.

The “Zorn Palette” refers to a palette of colours attributed to the great Swedish artist, Anders Zorn (18 February 1860 - 22 August 1920) The Zorn Palette comprises just 4 colours: yellow ochre, ivory black, cadmium red and titanium white.

In this class you will learn to:

Gain greater balance in your portrait painting

In this class you will learn to:

    • Gain greater balance in your portrait painting
    • Create an easy colour harmony
    • Manage tone and composition
    • Achieve more luminescence through colour mixing

First day of the class will be focused on short exercises on painting eyes, nose and lips.

On the second day we shall create a luminous portrait by using a Zorn Palette. Learning to work and extend these 4 harmonious colours to create glowing and enchanting skin tones.

The instructor will explain anatomy, make you aware of necessary details and show you practical techniques in her demonstrations.
