MIXED MEDIA with  JOYCE BOYER

We will explore different elements of mixed media. Composition and planning will be  our start for our foundation using students own reference material. During the first morning we will be working with tissue paper and prepping our canvas.  The afternoon will be adding  compound and planning the next steps. Working three canvases in slightly different ways using painted tissue, exploring pastes for added texture, and adding found objects  we will be creating our canvases on the first day to bring us to the second day.  Our second day will be using our  paints and found objects to finish our canvases. We will touch on how to push colour to bring us to the next level in our creative process. Come and explore and discover with us - it's a journey that is well worth the trip.
