Unlock your creative potential and immerse yourself in the captivating world of art with our Beginner Drawing Class, where we will explore the wonders of nature through observation. Whether you are a budding artist or have never picked up a pencil, this course is designed to nurture your artistic skills and provide you with the tools to appreciate and depict the natural world around you. You will be guided by a passionate and experienced instructor with over two decades of expertise as a fine artist, illustrator, and educator.
· Composition: We will cover basic compositional skills so that your drawing is engaging and interesting.
· Observational Line Drawing: Learn to see like an artist – how to translate three-dimensional objects into two-dimensional drawings. Learn how to see, measure, and create more convincing drawings from real subjects.
· Shading Techniques: Explore the world of shading, bringing depth and dimension to your drawings. Crystal will talk about how to see light and shadow as an artist so you can bring new life to your work even after class is over.
This weekend course is designed with beginners in mind, but all levels are welcome. Whether you're taking your first step into the world of art or seeking to refresh your skills, this course offers a supportive and engaging environment to nurture your creativity.
